Remote Seduction is how it was defined;

A secure way to enjoy a bit of adult pleasure in a world ravaged by a pandemic.

She had been single for a while, and dating was out of the picture considering all of the restrictions.

“Remain within your bubble.”

A potential mate, someone she had never met, was not part of her bubble,

And therefore, not a plausible option.  

She was lonely, depressed, and aching for companionship. 

So, she searched the internet for an alternative option. 

She came upon a website, offering “lifelike” mates that had the ability for intimacy and surface conversation. 

Her guttural reaction whilst scanning the handsome options had her lip biting. 

She trembled, felt dizzy with excitement for the prospect of finding a companion, a temporary partner. 

Her choice was prefect. Still, she wondered, “Is this shallow? To hide behind a robot while my Mr. Right is still out there?”

But, desperation had taken over. 

She required immediate satisfaction, both emotionally and physically. 

When the knock arrived, she floated to the door. 

She carefully unpacked her purchase, and flipped the switch. 

She gave it a small smile, then placed a tender kiss on its supple cheek, to which it responded with a robotic, “Thank you.”

“Nice to meet you, I am Anna. And you are?”

“Thank you,” it replied.

With a snarl, Anna immediately packed it back in the box and shipped it off.
