RDP Saturday – What the Eyes Don’t See…

Today’s prompt is my title: “What the eyes don’t see”

Please visit Punam for the original challenge, https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2021/01/30/rdp-saturday-what-the-eyes-dont-see/

My Submission:

I see indents in your forehead, dark pillows beneath your eyes, rounded shoulders as your iron feet struggle to drag you down the road. I see remnants of mascara along your cheeks, a sore on your lip where your teeth clenched. And, I see you shaking.

But, my eyes don’t see what troubles you so. Do you need a hug, a drink, someone to step in and help you? Where is your heart right now, your head?

What the eyes don’t see concerns me far more than what they do.
