Word of the Day – Laud

Definition of LAUD: To praise (a person or their achievements) highly, especially in a public context.

My submission 🙂

I can’t help shout out laudingly, “He did it, he finally did it!”

With tears streaming down my face, I watch my first-born run across the “stage” , snag his certificate, then run right off. I don’t think I’ve ever seen his smile so bright.

It’s been three long years of intensive studying and hard work on his part. I’ve never felt prouder.

My baby finally passed the first grade.
