Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC), April 27/21

Write a post using the word prompt. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction…any length! It can be just a picture or a drawing. No holds barred 🙂
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to the original post. And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity 🙂

My Submission:
Our first date,
Not what I expected.
Online, you seemed kind and compassionate.
You spoke of your mother with high regard, which I appreciated.
But, meeting you in person…
Your mouth is foul.
You shouted at the server,
SHOUTED!
I clearly mentioned that as a deal breaker in my profile: “Must not be rude to customer service representatives or servers.”
Did you even read it?
I abhor this encounter and can’t wait to return home,
Slip into my pajamas,
And snuggle my kind and compassionate cats.
Next time swipe left. 😂

You’re fortunate that you found out the person is not suitable on the first date and still “swipe left”. Some people only manage to realize much later in life.
