Photo Prompt – Monotony

Too many open doors

Where is my voice, MY choice?

This is the beaten path

I can see straight ahead

I know exactly what to expect

I’d prefer a closed door

At least one

Something that keeps me guessing

Keeps me excited for what lays ahead

Nothing more monotonous than a predictable future

Thank you for the photo prompt, https://scvincent.com/2019/06/27/thursday-photo-prompt-open-writephoto/

And Sadje, for bringing the prompt back to life, https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/2020/10/29/thursday-photo-prompt-open/

  1. I am enjoying your take on many of the photo prompts, Sara. What fun! I have a few other projects on the go, since it would be fun to participate. I am with you on at least one “closed door.” A choice. Something unpredictable. 😊
