Glimmers and glints in the night sky,

Trailing tails, five fingers long.

Must be magic.

A calm sea, churned and turned white.

Must be magic.

A baby sparrow, leaping from the nest, 

Stretches her infant wings and soars.

Must be magic.

Trees, spreading their branches, 

While respecting their neighbours’ need for space.

Must be magic.

A flower that heals, 

A berry that feeds,

A falling of rain that nourishes growth,

A kind word that mends a troubled heart.

Must be magic.
