My Submission:
I contest every word she’s spitting from her face!
Sir, while I do ask you to elaborate, please, keep it civil.
Civil? She’s keeping my daughter from me, brainwashing her into thinking I’m the bad guy!
Once again, Sir, please elaborate with fact and not just emotion.
Fine!
Jacob pulled out his phone and showed the adjudicator the text conversations between him and his estranged girlfriend.
After scrolling through their heated messages, the adjudicator shot the woman a sly eye.
You claimed he’s had no interest in connecting or communicating with his daughter, and was an absentee father.
Yes! she proclaimed.
Well, these text messages suggest otherwise. Since your split, he had made almost daily attempts to have contact with his child, which you have denied.
So?
So, your claims have lost their clout.

Thank you, Carol Anne! This is based very accurately on my partner’s ongoing attempt/battle to have a relationship with his young daughter. We’ve been together over four years, and not a day goes by where he doesn’t attempt to reach out. He’s met with multiple lawyers, filled out all the required paperwork, sent gifts, money, text messages, phone calls that are never answered, and pays his child support without question. He loves his little girl more than anything, but his ex is steadfast in holding her personal grudge. I just don’t get it.
