MLMM Wordle #238 – Arrogant Arse

The Words:

My Submission 🙂

I stand idly by, tight-lipped, as usual.

I know what the problem is, but he won’t listen to me.

The pipes gave a clang, then an inconstant gurgle

My father was a plumber,

I know what the problem is.

He sends some solvent down.

I know it won’t work, be he won’t listen to me.

Our relationship is in discord, and has been for a while.

Despite extending the occasional olive branch,

He finds its texture off putting.

Just send the water in reverse and all will be resolved!

But, he won’t listen to me.

He doesn’t see me as an equal partner, and certainly does not take my input into consideration.

I’m like a prosthesis he reluctantly dons.

Moments like these are amusing. I find something yummy about watching him in the throes of frustration.

His life would be a lot easier is he weren’t such an arrogant arse.
