The Words: beg, box, clad, dare, delicious, failed, felt, gold, heroic, late, level, mind, miss, overjoyed, pinch, private, sorry, spoil, street, trash, vision
My Submission 🙂
Most didn’t pay mind to the red-clad miss, with hair like threads of gold, a delicious snicker that wouldn’t dare break no matter how late my clever retort was, and a smile not even a thousand years could spoil.
I never failed to impress her. In fact, she seemed overjoyed with every pinch of authentic engagement. I felt it, on every level. She assumed I felt sorry for her, and that’s why I took her from the street. While she saw herself as trash, to me, she was a vision. She didn’t beg to be unburdened, nor did I feel heroic breaking her out of her box.
We kept her past private, all the way up to our nuptials. And when the congregation was asked if anyone objected to our union, no one stood, for all I introduced them to was a beautiful miss, with hair like threads of gold, a delicious snicker that wouldn’t dare break no matter the circumstance, and a smile not even a thousand years could spoil.
