Those of you who boast thousands, probably won’t see this as a big deal. But, I am elated!!

When I began this blogging journey, I didn’t know what to expect. I assumed I’d be writing all these personal posts, based on my life and experiences. I still am, here and there, but the moment I discovered writing promts/challenges…GAME CHANGER.

What a fabulous community this is…kind, supportive, encouraging. I wake up every day, excited to write.

In this short time I’ve been blogging, I already feel like I’m developing my Tribe. There are certain bloggers I seek, just to see what they wrote today. And I feel some might be doing the same with me. It’s flattering and uplifting.

I needed this boost, desperately.

I was drowning in the pressure I put on myself to publish a novel. There is a LOT more to it than I initially thought.

Blogging has revived me as a writer.

I’m thriving on stretching my creative wings in short, concise interludes. I don’t need to write 80,000 words to make an impact with my writing. My Tribe seems to enjoy my one-liners, silly snippets, and heart-felt offerings.

I never know where my imagination is going to take me from challenge to challenge, and it’s been very exciting to find out.

Sometimes, I surprise myself!

This post is meant as a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported my new journey. I greatly appreciate you joining my Tribe πŸ™‚

  1. Congratulations! Well done. It’s not the number of people who ‘follow’ your blog that’s important though. It’s the ones who engage properly with it, that you need to treasure and nurture.

  2. I recall the first ten followers as a big deal. And, I still get happy butterflies with each new follower, a new visitor. Then, I am curious to visit their home, too. I have been at it for two years and I still wake up every day excited to read and write. Great words, Sara, β€œSometimes, I surprise myself!”
