Crimson’s Creative Challenge #104 – Absence of Self

Walking by the new high-end boutique, this is the window display

A warning to the “plus-size” ladies that nothing over size zero will be sold here

Size zero.

Don’t even bother to enter if you have hips, a large chest, mommy tummy, or a rear end

Size zero only.

Correct me if I’m wrong,

But isn’t zero nothing?

That’s what this window display is making me feel like right now,

I wish them well

With the customers who will fit their unrealistic ideals

All twelve of them

As a side note, some woman are naturally small and super healthy! This was not based on them. Rather, the designers who cater only to one particular body type, and the women who starve themselves to near-death to fit their “image of perfection”.

No amount of dieting could change that,

      1. Butter is a healthy fat. The seed-oils are bad. They’re high in omega-6, which is fine when balanced with omerga-3, but in excess is very bad for you. Truly, check out the truth on fats. We;ve been told lies for so many years.
